Portable, Ruggedized RAID for High-Capacity Data Transfers
The rise of 4K video production comes with an increasing demand for fast and high capacity data transfer solutions. Unlike current HDD RAID products, the new high speed PSZ-RA Series HDD RAID drive (3.5 inch two-bay HDD) can store data at a speed of up to 440MB/s in RAID 0 mode, enabling a 1TB file to be transferred in approximately 50 minutes.

Ideal for reliable outdoor use, the portable and rugged RAID drive is highly durable due to its unique construction. The internal and external dumpers protect the bare drive against vibrations and shocks as high as MIL50G/11ms (in non-operating mode). The drive is also delivered with a built-in carrying handle with a tough, easy-to-carry carton box to protect the product against damage during transportation.

PSZ-RA-Series HDD RAID drive includes USB 3.0 and dual Thunderbolt2 ports that are 25 times faster than FireWire 800. Furthermore, the dual Thunderbolt ports support daisy chain up to 6 units. Flexibility is further enhanced with a choice of Hardware RAID 0, RAID 1 or JBOD modes.

Memory Media Utility software is supplied for easy media management (downloadable here). Users can use this software to format their drive, check the remaining capacity, the file system or the RAID mode. This software also alerts them when the drive needs to be replaced.
